Using modern technologies, the company “BC Steel Center” does everything possible to ensure that our industrial floors have the necessary mechanical strength, endure shock and abrasion, have maximum sound insulation, are hygienic and economical.

Here is a list of the work that our specialists perform:

Topping floors

Concrete floors have a high popularity and relevance. In industrial and household buildings they are used as clean floors. We do topping floors using special mixtures – toppings, which are used to strengthen the surface of a concrete floor.

Herkulit (Herkulit) – a reliable coating for industrial floors – is a dry composition, which includes washed granular quartz, mineral Dynagrip and special cement, which has high strength even in small quantities. This composition is rubbed onto a moist, freshly laid concrete surface, which significantly reduces the risk of surface cracking and limescale. In addition, herkulite absorbs moisture much faster than other dry materials used to create a high-strength surface. The result is much better.

It is recommended to use herkulit for any floors that will be subjected to high and ultra-high loads. It is also used for rooms where there are increased requirements for cleanliness and lack of dust.

To strengthen industrial concrete floors, the technology of introducing the Armorite dry mix (ARMORETE) from high-strength Portland cement, solid fillers (quartz, corundum, etc.) and additives to add color to the top layer is used when concreting. The advantages are that it is possible to produce a topcoat at the same time as concreting, in decorativeness (choice of color scheme), almost complete waterproofness, durability, and ease of cleaning.

Impregnated industrial concrete floors

Industrial concrete floors are made using silicate and polymer impregnations. With their help, the concrete structure is compacted, the pore space is reduced. As a result, the floor becomes strong, wear-resistant, and the impact strength of concrete increases.

Polymeric bulk floors

Polymer self-leveling floors are a monolithic seamless coating that can be applied both to the surface of concrete, and to metal and wooden substrates. This material on an epoxy or polyurethane basis, if necessary, is applied, including on vertical surfaces.

The main advantages of polymer bulk floors:

extremely strong, without joints and seams uniform surface;
excellent elasticity of the floor surface, preventing the occurrence of cracks even with strong impacts;
aesthetic appearance.

Level mass

To level the floor, the most convenient material is used – a self-flowing fill, called a level-mass. This is a mixture that includes a binder, special additives to accelerate or slow down hardening and to increase the elasticity of the surface. And as a filler fine-grained sand is used.

The method of pouring industrial floors with a level mass is used both in construction and in repair for floor screeds and leveling in residential and public buildings. Also, the level mass is poured under the laying of rolled materials, parquet, when creating underfloor heating. It hardens without internal stress and shrinkage.

Screeds

In residential premises, concrete floors are not used in their pure form, here they serve as a base for screeds.

The functions of the screeds are to smooth the unevenness of the floor, to protect the sound and heat insulating material located under them, to distribute the load over the entire floor surface area. They can also serve as a coupler of heating elements for heating a room and as an accumulating mass to maintain a balanced room climate.

Our company also performs repair of old floors, milling, grinding, polishing.
